I am the Chairman of the MIT Student Committee on Educational Policy.
I sit on the Corporation Joint Advisory Committee on Institute-Wide Affairs, the Committee on the Undergraduate program, and the MacVicar Advisory Committee. I previously sat on the Committee on Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid.
I serve on the Everett Moore Baker Memorial Foundation; I was Historian from May to December 2009, and from December 2009 to May 2011 served as Vice-Chair of the Foundation. I now serve as Chair of the Foundation.
I was Vice-President of Random Hall from 2010-2011. I also served between 2008 and 2010 as a member-at-large of the Executive Committee (ExecComm), and was Random Hall's CPW/REX Chair in 2009.
MIT ESP is dedicated to providing a unique, affordable educational experience for middle and high school students.
I co-directed Spark 2009 and Splash 2009.
I served from 2009 to 2010 as co-Chair of ESP.
I currently serve as MIT ESP's representative to Learning Unlimited's Chapter Board.
I am a mentor for Splash at Yale and Babson Splash.
Starting in January 2011, I will be responsible for coordinating all Splashes currently in mentorship.
I was a finalist for the 2011 Truman Scholarship.
I am working on a paper under a Minerva Explorations in Cyber International Relations Grant.
I received a 2010-2011 Student Leaders in Service Fellowship, which is an AmeriCorps grant.
I was a semifinalist in the 2008 Intel Talent Search and the 2007-2008 Siemens Competition.
I took a 3rd in the AMS's Karl Menger Prize at ISEF 2008.
I won ScienceMONTGOMERY's math category for three years running, from 2006- 2008.
I attended the Research Science Institute (RSI) in 2007, was a counselor there in 2008, and was a Nobody in 2009, 2010, and 2011.I have volunteered at ScienceMONTGOMERY annually since 2006.
In high school, my senior class voted me "Most Likely to Save the World." No pressure.
